The hit Canadian drama TV series Coroner is based on Matthew Hall's Jenny Cooper series of novels. The first series was shown in January 2019 and ran for four seasons until 2022. The Canadian actor Serinda Swan stars as Jenny Cooper and the Coroner drama series is set in Toronto.
